What to Expect

Noah's ArkEvery church is different! If you are coming to our church for the first time, you may have some questions. If your questions aren’t answered here, don’t hesitate to contact us.

How should I dress?
Please wear whatever is comfortable for you to listen for God’s word with our congregation.

Where should I park and where do I enter the building?
Follow the driveway to a large parking lot. You will pass the (double door) main entrance to the building. There is another door down the steps from the parking lot which leads you to the Christian Education wing. Handicap parking spots are well marked by the main entrance, and you may park on the street if necessary.

What is the worship service like?
Worship services at Faith Presbyterian Church are fairly traditional. The presence of God is conveyed through music, prayers and the spoken Word. Services tend to run for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Communion is served at least the first Sunday of every month.

Worship starts every Sunday at 10:00 AM, with child care provided.

Communion
Communion takes place the first Sunday of every month.  We remain seated for the bread and the cup, and on certain occasions during the year we come forward for the bread and the cup (Intinction).

In the event that you are unable to participate in this meal during worship, we invite you to request Extended Communion-a program in which the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is delivered and presented by two or more ordained officers of the church in your home.  If you would like to receive this service, please contact your deacon or Sally Eck at 610-351-9440.

Where do my children go?
Children are welcome to stay with parents throughout Worship. There are Sunday School programs for children ages 3 and up during the school year. Childcare is available in the nursery during Sunday School and Worship time on Sundays.

Sunday School
Sunday School takes place during the school year, and is organized by the Discipleship committee.  Classes are for ages 3 through adult, and child care is available for those under 3.

What happens after Worship?
We engage in Fellowship time after Worship.  This is a time for a snack, beverage, and conversation with members and visitors to Faith Presbyterian Church.  We also hold Sunday School after Worship, with the exception of the first Sunday of the month when we have a potluck lunch.
